Description

The Clos Pegase Winery was designed by renowned architect Michael Graves after an international competition. The assignment was to build a "temple to wine." The resulting winery is architecturally magnificent and the wine produced inside in excellent. Owner, Jam Shrem wisely chose winemaking legend, Andre Tchelistcheff as his first consultant and the quality has been consistent ever since. The winery's art collection is as impressive as its handsome architecture. A variety of paintings are on display in the visitors' center. Outside you'll find sculptures by internationally-known artists, including Henry Moore.
