Description

The Reno Little Nugget Diner -- not to be confused with John Ascuaga's Nugget Casino and Resort in Sparks, NV -- is a small, mostly locals' casino and diner that might look like a dive, but it serves the best hamburger in town. Walk to the small counter at the rear of the casino. Ignore how it looks. Order an "Awful-Awful," and prepare to be amazed. The food quality is excellent, and the quantity is, well, huge. It's a half-pound patty of pure meat, topped with cheese and all the fixin's, and served over a huge mound of tasty fries. It's cheap, it's filling, and it's been voted the best burger in Reno several times in a row. You have to experience an Awful-Awful when you visit downtown Reno!
