Housed in a beautiful 1900s building, this museum focuses on bringing Arizona history to life. There are over 20 exhibits here, including spotlights on the University of Arizona's role in space exploration, the Arizona state quarter, and historic people from the state's past. Walking through the museum, you'll find out interesting facts about the state (such as its official colors are blue and old gold, and the official state reptile is the Arizona Ridge-nosed Rattlesnake), as well as read personal anecdotes from historical people such as the state's first settlers. There are also political-themed exhibits here (since the museum is housed in the old state capitol building) such as replica House and Senate chambers and other political offices.
