Description
In its earlier days, Greasewood Flats was known only to the lucky few who discovered the tiny place hidden off of a dirt road in the middle of nowhere, including Glen Campbell, John Denver, and Tennessee Ernie Ford, who would do impromptu performances. Today, the circa-1883 former stagecoach bunkhouse is widely known and wildly popular, with its rustic bar and dozens of picnic tables under a rolling canopy of trees. Folks flock to Greasewood for a cold beer, a grilled-to-order hamburger, live music, and stunning sunset views over the mountaintops to the west.
