Description

The Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation created this historical park to preserve the nine heritage houses that date back from the late 1890s. The Barclay side of the West End park has kept its original neighbourhood character and scale, thanks to Barclay Manor. The Roedde House Museum and the Weeks House are found on either side. The former is Vancouver's first house museum while the latter is occupied by 'Friends For Life' - an organization that provides assistance for persons with life-threatening illnesses.
