Description

The first of the ten chapels of this Basilica, one of Canada's most famous Catholic Shrines and places of pilgrimage, was built in 1658. A beautiful statue of Ste Anne can be seen inside the chapel—often referred to as the Statue of Miracles because it has ostensibly answered many prayers. The Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré is located across from the Saint Lawrence River in a beautiful, tranquil setting, about 20 minutes east of Quebec City. Free Admission for all.
