Description

Established in 1976, the Verrerie La Mailloche is a museum/glass foundry where you can observe glassblown works from the very moment of their creation as they are forged from incredible heat into beautiful decorative works. Craftsmen fill the shop with items created on the grounds, as well as give glass-blowing workshops. This "economuseum" is one of the most innovate sites in Quebec, so come here if you want to pick up a souvenir or if you are just into watching the elemental forces which create the glassworks.
