Description

This interactive museum is a wonderful place to go to learn about the history of the great Lone Star State. It features three floors of hands-on exhibits and displays, a great special effects show, and even an IMAX theater that showcases a large-format video about Texas called Texas: The Big Picture. Visitors will get to check out great exhibits that cover topics such as the first Native American inhabitants to live on the land, European explorers, the story of how Texas became an independent entity, and Texas ranchers. The museum also hosts a wide array of traveling exhibits, so be sure to call ahead before your visit to find out what's on display.
