Description

The Kallang is the longest river in Singapore, stretching from the coast to about six miles inland. It has been shaped and canaled, effecting the natural meander, but it's still a lovely river. Near the mouth is Kallang Riverside Park, where boaters, water skiers, surfers, windsurfers, and other water activities are popular. Beaches along the banks of the river are also heavily used. If you're thirsty for some water-play time, this is a great spot to plan your day around.
