Watertown hosts a large Armenian-American community, so it is no surprise to find the nation's foremost Armenian museum downtown. The exhibits combine history, textiles, art and a library to create a comprehensive resource for Armenians and others wishing to learn about their rich heritage. The most eye-opening exhibit memorializes the Armenian Genocide, which began in 1915 and has been largely forgotten by the public. Admission: $5 for adults, $2 for students.
