Description
This preserve, started by Arizona's Official State Balladeer, Dolan Ellis, is dedicated to honoring the songs and stories of Arizona and its heritage. In conjunction with the University of Arizona South, Ellis has constructed the current Folklore Center, located on four acres in Ramsey Canyon. The Center features collections and exhibitions of artifacts pertaining to Arizona culture and history, and also spotlights weekly guest artist performances by regional singers, songwriters, storytellers, poets, musicians.
