Here you'll most likely find Stanford students with their heads buried deep in their books as they study at coffee shops. If you like art, there are a number of galleries that will welcome you to browse and buy. The downtown area especially comes alive on Friday and Saturday nights, when the restaurants and bars here attract the most business.
