Description

This 22-mile trail is a popular venue for bikers, walkers, joggers, rollerbladers, and dog walkers. It winds along the path of an Old Colony Railroad route and passes through many historic small towns that make for good places to stop and take a break from walking (or running, biking, jogging--whatever activity you're doing). For the beachgoers in the group, there are plenty of places along the trail to stop off at a nice beach to swim or lounge in the sand. Various bike rental companies also dot the path, in case two-wheeling is your transportation method of choice and you didn't bring your own bicycle to the trail.
