From the far-lung reaches of mid-west Ireland, Oda packed her kitbag at 17 and went to the big smoke of Dublin to study Communications. On graduation she worked for 10 years as a TV researcher on a variety of music, educational and documentary programmes for Irish and UK broadcasters. She then branched into directing and screenwriting and has made three short films (Rendezvous, On the Pig's Back and Sunday Munch), several promos and two documentaries (When Pigs carry Sticks/Muca le Maidi for TG4 and Sing and You Win for RTE). She also works as a travel writer for Lonely Planet and lives in Dublin with her husband and three daughters.

As director of Bushducks Global Adventures, Donald Mc Gann explores, writes, photographs, and interprets cultures in many parts of the world. Bushducks supplied the Irish photography for Time After Time, an award-winning documentary, produced by Lyrebird Media of Melbourne, Australia, that blends music with the myth and stories of native peoples on three continents. As one of the main contributors to Swagman Publishing's Backcountry Adventures series, Bushducks researched, wrote, mapped, and photographed the award-winning guides for Utah, Arizona, Southern California, and Northern California.
