Mathieu Fretschel
Photographer
Mat Fretschel was born in MA but calls Charleston, SC home. He went to school at Winthrop University where he became a cheerleader, after missing soccer tryouts. He is known for working too much, being the "nice guy" and the somewhat responsible one at Fraternity parties. He moved back home for a year, only to be uprooted to NYC for an internship in Fashion Photography. He found out what Pizza is supposed to taste like, and how to rollerblade in between taxis. He would still be living there now but thought his wife was more important. And he just realized that along with being a photographer, he is also a professional waiter looking to retire to the camera.
You can see more of his work on his website, mathieufretschel.com.

Sarah Floyd
Photographer
Sarah Floyd is a freelance graphic designer and amateur photographer living in Marietta, Georgia, just outside of Atlanta. Working from home gives her plenty of time to walk her dog every day and travel, taking hundreds of photos along the way. She grew up in Louisiana, and graduated from Northwestern State University at Natchitoches with a Bachelor's degree in Advertising Design. She bought her first Macintosh computer for graphic design work in 1986, two years after their debut. Over the years she’s owned over half a dozen different Macs and finally accepted a PC in the house a few years ago. When not at home working, looking for work or at the park with Missy, her Belgian Sheepdog, she’s out hiking many of the great parks and trails in the Atlanta area.
Greatest Accomplishment: Graphic design wise, working on The Performing Set with Dr. Andrew Harris. The book went to press in the Fall of 2005, and is now available on Amazon and through the University of North Texas Press. The book is about Bill and Jean Eckart, Broadway stage designers and producers whose work revolutionized theater production. Sarah laid out the book in Quark Xpress, and helped color enhance many of its 500 photos. She considered it an honor to work on this project with her friend Dr. Harris. They met when she lived and worked in the Dallas, Texas area from 1990 through 2004.
Favorite Foods: Good Cajun food when she travels home to Louisiana. TexMex, the best found in the Dallas, Texas area. Good Southern cooking and Italian also rank high on the list.
Preferred Travel Spots: Anywhere and everywhere. Favorites include: Santa Fe and Taos, New Mexico, Vancouver BC, Blue Ridge Parkway through North Carolina, Colorado and Florida. Can’t decide whether to retire to the Mountains or the Coast. Loves them both. Had a blast on a trip through England, France and Germany and hope to get back there too.
