Howdy, June Naylor here. A sixth-generation Texan, I’ve lived my whole life in either Fort Worth or Dallas but have traveled Texas, the U.S. and the world extensively over the past two decades. An aspiring sportswriter at the start, I took a detour when a position on the Fort Worth Star-Telegram’s travel section opened up just over 20 years ago. Although my journeys have led to distant lands, I love being back at the ranch, so to speak.
My numerous travel books include guides that explore Dallas and Fort Worth in great detail, and my assignments with Texas Highways and Texas Monthly magazines typically cover sites and bites in and around North Texas. I get a kick out of showing off these towns, with all their nooks and crannies, to visitors. My goal is to make your adventures and discoveries in these parts a wagonload of fun.

David Ivey is the founder of Imagine Nation, a creativity production organization, and a full-time student of The Art Institute of San Francisco for Graphic Design. He is normally working two jobs, one full time and one freelance (for the experience and passion). Usually he can be found either at school, on a shoot, playing music, or sipping tea at a cosmic locale. His main goal in this life is to open awareness through creativity. David's main interests are writing, music, designing, Light, Sound, production on several mediums, and all great mysteries in this existence.
